São Paulo Metro – Line 2, Section 2

The works comprise a twin-track main tunnel with a diameter of 10.40 metres and a length of approximately 6 km, together with two underground stations and associated infrastructure. Once completed, Lot 2 will connect São Paulo and Guarulhos through a series of interchanges with urban transport networks, both rail- and road-based. The project will extend public transport services to several city districts and significantly expand the passenger base served by the network.
