In memory of Luis Castilla (1960-2023)

Luis Castilla, CEO of Acciona Infrastructure, passed away prematurely just a few days ago. The sad news was announced by the President and CEO, José Manuel Entrecanales, around whom we gather. In remembering Luis, Entrecanales highlighted not only his great human qualities but also the dedication with which the manager, civil engineer, key figure in the industry for 40 years, contributed to the growth of a respectable and innovative company. Acciona Infrastructure develops and manages sustainable infrastructure solutions and is a loyal partner of Ghella worldwide.

Luis Castilla dedicated 21 years of his professional life to Acciona, starting his career as the general manager of Acciona Agua. In 2014, appointed CEO of the infrastructure division, he not only expanded the group's global presence but also strengthened the position of the Spanish company as a leader in the field of water services and renewable energy management in more than 40 countries, with a workforce of over 41,000 employees.

We say goodbye to a man who was accomodating, visionary, generous, who knew how to give advice combining humanity and competence, seriousness, and sense of humor.
